Terms of Service

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Who we are

Crawl Readiness is a product of Tundrastone, an Ontario, Canada business. By using our website, Chrome extension, API, or generated files ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What the Service does

Crawl Readiness fetches publicly accessible pages (like robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and page headers) and reports whether AI crawlers such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can access them. We also generate recommended configuration files (robots.txt, llms.txt, JSON-LD snippets) that you can optionally add to your own website.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. Scores, diagnoses, and generated files are informational and may not reflect the full behavior of every AI crawler or search system. AI crawler policies change frequently; we do our best to keep signals current, but do not guarantee accuracy or completeness.

Your responsibility for changes to your site

Any file we generate (robots.txt, llms.txt, structured data, redirects, etc.) is a suggestion. You are responsible for reviewing anything you add to your website and for making sure it works with your hosting platform, CMS, or CDN. We accept no liability for outages, indexing changes, ranking changes, lost revenue, or any other consequence resulting from applying our recommendations. When in doubt, test in a staging environment first.

Public reports and the leaderboard

When you run a check, we may store a public shareable report at a unique URL (e.g. crawlreadiness.com/report/xxxx) based only on publicly accessible signals from the checked website. High-scoring domains may appear on our public leaderboard. If you are the owner of a domain that appears in a report or on the leaderboard and would like the report removed or de-indexed, email us at crawlreadiness@gmail.com with the report URL and we will remove it within 5 business days.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to check sites you don't have permission to audit at scale, don't use it to launch denial-of-service attacks or bypass access controls, and don't misrepresent our reports as endorsements. We may rate-limit, block, or terminate access for abuse.

Paid subscriptions

Paid tiers (Pro, Agency) are billed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled case-by-case — email us within 14 days of a charge if something is wrong.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
